Albro L. Lundy III, a compassionate attorney, loves the law and uses it to serve his clients ensuring they receive justice. As a trial lawyer for almost 40 years, he has achieved numerous high-profile multimillion-dollar verdicts and settlements, including an anti-trust class action culminating in an over $4 billion resolution which also now prevents the defendant energy companies from manipulating the market again. One of his proudest successes involved an eightfigure verdict against the California Department of Transportation for a dangerous road condition, resulting in safer roads throughout the state. He also had the privilege of arguing before the California Supreme Court, winning a unanimous opinion overturning three separate appellate decisions on 998 offers which ultimately reduces litigation and encourages resolution. Albro’s legal efforts have earned him numerous awards and recognitions, including Trial Lawyer of the Year from the Consumer Attorneys of California and a Trial Lawyer of the Year nomination from CAALA. An enthusiastic Bruin, following his graduation from UCLA Albro was selected for the CORO Fellowship in public affairs and then followed with the valuable Jesuit legal training at Loyola Law School. In addition to the law, Albro uses his advocacy skills to assist the disadvantaged. He fought for the rights of American POW/MIAs including a mission to Vietnam with Muhammad Ali to bring them home. Today, he serves as general counsel for Plant With Purpose and is highly active in numerous humanitarian endeavors including donating 172 pints of blood and counting.
