T. Gabe Houston is the founding trial attorney at The Trial Lab Corporation, where he runs the firm’s trial division. He practices primarily in last minute trials, products liability, catastrophic personal injury and aviation related cases. Gabe earned his J.D. from Chapman University Fowler School of Law in Orange, California, graduating painfully average. Gabe is an occasional trial attorney, occasional private and commercial fixed wing and helicopter pilot, and occasional start-up entrepreneur. Gabe has frequently tried and arbitrated complex cases in multi-month trials. Gabe came out of a three-year hiatus from the courtroom and recently retried a large product liability case that was remanded for new trial, securing a $161 million verdict in Southern California. Gabe is graduate of the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College and regularly spends time working with other trial lawyers in local working groups in California and Florida, working on story development, jury selection, witness preparation, opening statements, and closing arguments. He operates “The Trial Lab”, a local working group where lawyers practice their craft in preparation for trial and receive real-time feedback from their colleagues. He is admitted to practice in California and Florida, and he holds offices in both states. He is bi(coastal), but currently resides in Stuart, Florida in the “sailfish capital of the world” never far away from Bahamian blue water, bull sharks and pretty decent east coast surf. Gabe can be reached at TGH@TheTrialLab.com, and encourages anyone to reach out for help on their cases or to participate in one of The Trial Lab’s Local Working Group sessions.
