Judge Joe Hilberman served on the Los Angeles Superior Court from 2002 through 2009 following a 27-year career in civil litigation. Judge Hilberman is currently a full-time mediator, arbitrator and discovery referee with ADR Services, Inc., handling personal injury, employment, professional liability, business, real estate, homeowners’ association and related disputes.

He is also a frequent lecturer on topics of mediation and litigation. His presentations have included Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), Association of Southern California Defense Counsel (ASCDC), Defense Research Institute (DRI) and the Traumatic Brain Institute (TBI).
A graduate of UCLA and the UCLA School of Law, having served as President of the UCLA School of Law Alumni Association and on the board of directors of the university-wide UCLA Alumni Association.
